Review on 🖍️ 48 Assorted Colors Square Chalk Pastel Set by Non Toxic Mungyo Soft by Kelly Caballes

I have ordered some more expensive pastels but they should arrive in a few weeks so I decided to order these as I wanted to do some research although I was reluctant as there were many complaints about bad packaging and damaged pastels. Well, there are no complaints. The pastels came in a very nice box, lined with plastic, with a lid, a pouch to keep everything together and shrink wrapped. The pastels themselves are perfectly finished. They're not the softest, but I can get good blends, so no complaints. I did some work to experiment with Grumbacher Meridian paper which is too rough for pastels but overall I like how they work and the problems are mainly due to not having practiced in that medium. In general I am very satisfied with the result. The pastels themselves are a bit small, but not so much that I have a hard time holding them. They have a good range of colors and also include large blacks and whites as well as smaller ones. All in all, this is a good choice for those looking to play around or experiment. The information on the box is in Korean, so I don't know if there are any lightfastness or archival quality markings, but at this price I wouldn't plan on doing that. However, a good set and a good deal.
