I was looking for a stainless steel jelly pan for health reasons. According to the product description, it is steel in several places. He also said it was from Libertyware. When the pan arrived I washed it with soap and water. When I first baked in a pan, there was a greasy black film that I had to rub to remove. In the second baking, the shape was deformed and the scratches were obvious. I was concerned that my other stainless steel cookware and silverware wouldn't scratch, warp, or leave black grease stains. I turned the pan over to look for a stainless steel stamp (like my other cookware and flatware) and the Ruby Snap name was engraved there. It bore neither the name Libertyware nor a stainless steel stamp. I believe this is misrepresented as stainless steel, but it's actually aluminum. As I said, this is also not a Libertyware product. Presenting the product as steel and sliding it into an aluminum pan is wrong. I will be returning this pan as soon as possible! Buyer Warning!
