I ordered these because a refillable cartridge my wife uses in her printer could not be identified. Before I received new (those) cartridges, I saw a video describing how to fix unrecognized cartridges. Luckily I still have original Brothers cartridges. I removed the chip from the original and replaced the chip with a refillable one and the cartridge worked. So I had a choice: return or keep as a backup. I did the latter, so if refillable items aren't recognized again, she can use them. So she hasn't tried the cartridges yet. It is important to note that these cartridges are a different size than OEM, so it is unlikely that these chips can be used as a replacement. However, the size of the cartridges is the same as the original. If my wife uses them I will be back to update my review.
