I needed this for my puppy's leash as I needed something I could do with one hand - I have a cast for my thumb. I've had it for two days when I realize that while I can open it with the trigger, it won't close on its own; I have to clench the claws. I'm so afraid that it will open and fall off the belt. Doesn't seem worth the hassle of sending it back. Despite all the positive reviews, I was very disappointed in my experience. I have to buy another one.
