I'm not sure why "transparency" is important but they want me to mention it in the review, it's all good except for one. He's tiny. I have young zebra catfish that are only an inch and a half and they don't come to the shelter because it's too small. This would be great for shrimp or roast but too small for anything longer than 1 inch. The picture is misleading, far from the correct size. Otherwise it's great.
- The color of the shelter is white, the natural color of the ceramic without painting, it really guarantees 100% safety for every fish.
