Contains eight high-quality long (over 20 inch) SATA cables with flat connectors and metal clips. It does NOT show up as an unknown device in Windows 10 Build 20H2. You must use the driver disk and install it manually to "see" all attached drives. The mini-CD contains drivers for several other products. You should check the SATA CARD catalogue. This is where the confusion comes in as there are directories for ASMedia, JMicron and Marvell which are all possible controller chips used. Since the controller chip is covered by a heatsink, this can be a guess. I chose the Marvell 9230 chipset driver, which works with six drives attached. Depending on your setup, you might like the dark blue LEDs on the board to indicate connected drives. No RGB, just dark blue. The biggest problem I had was a plastic anchor sticking out about halfway down the bottom of the PCB holding the heatsink to the controller chip. This plastic bracket contacted the graphics card fan with two wide slots next to it.
