I bought them with great pleasure only to be disappointed. I went on a whim and bought a pair of angled woofers and tweeters and I wanted to use ONE as the SB. I've always heard good things about MonoPrice, so I decided to take a chance. I'm disappointed. Installation was easy, a very heavy solid speaker with a huge magnet in the back, but the tweeter is distorted or the crossovers are not properly adjusted. I use Denon 4520 Ci, Atlantic Tech and Polk in different rooms, Outlaw 5000, Onkyo 818 in another room with Sherborn amp. So I know it's not my rig, I was starting to think maybe it's Dud. When I run my Audessy xt 32 with BM it makes a terrible sound in test tones like no other speaker! After playing around with it a bit, I turned around and moved to a height of 7.2 in front. So before I delve into Mono, I was wondering if any of you are having or had the same issues? Terrible highs and just a deep overall sound? More scud noise than a pretty tweeter/driver icon? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
