Product reviews say it runs small and runs a size up but that's not our case. I chose size 7/8 for my 5 year old and although it fits and is a bit big, size 5/6 would be perfect. Turquoise is very light but beautiful! Fleece is what you'd expect for the price: a bit thin and not particularly soft. It has a plasticky feel, but that's not enough to deter you from wearing it. Obviously not the prettiest, softest or warmest fleece fabric out there, but it does the job on a cool, windy day. I probably wouldn't wear this in fairly cold weather, but it's great for 50's weather.
