TrueCABLE Cat6A Shielded Riser (CMR) 300ft Black Solid Copper 23AWG 750MHz ETL Listed Generic Foil Shield (FTP): I love this cable and would recommend it and would buy it again . on a good wooden spool properly wound. The outer shell is proven and easily detachable with one click, has an even thickness and protects the contents well. I'd say "spot on" in terms of usability and cable protection. The jacket has a "rip" cord that allows you to separate the outer shell when you want to use it. The next layer is foil, thick and covering the entire outside diameter of the cable. A shield or ground conductor is embedded in this layer. My guess is that this shield wire is about 27 AWG. The next layer is a transparent thin plastic sheet, which is good. Each of the four pairs is wrapped around a flexible "X" shaped plastic form that is easy to cut and guides the pairs through the cable. The conductors of the pairs are beautiful bright shiny 23 AWG solid copper wires. I found some pairs wrapped more tightly than others. My blue pair was a little looser than the tightly curled orange pair, for example. I wanted to point that out as it's the only thing worth mentioning as a negative. From what others have mentioned flexibility, this is pretty good for a 6A cable. You certainly don't want to make a sharp bend in the cable as this will drastically affect throughput, but ANY Cat 6A cable can present a problem when inserted into a termination jack. As cables move up the category, they add more shielding and other geometry-stabilizing materials. This will make the cables even more robust in the future; think Cat 7, Cat 8. Remember this is not a cable issue, it is an installation issue that needs to be addressed with better installation products for tighter cables. I had no trouble connecting the cable to the ends or capstone. Body diameter suitable for products designed for use with Cat. 6A. Recommended.
