Pros & Cons of the Best Coffee & Espresso Machine Parts & Accessories

I use these filters with the Clever Coffee Dripper (CCD), so my observations relate to this particular brewing method and its peculiarities. When brewing with CCD, the water is in contact with the filter for a long time, which can aggravate some problems. Here are the advantages: - Very strong. Especially if you take the time to fold them properly as directed. They don't break. (See Cons section for more details) - Good flavor transfer. I'm not thrilled if the "flavor enhancing" technology actually does anything other than enhance the cup with a small amount of VERY fine particles, but I don't think I'm losing any flavor in the process, so that's a plus. .And the disadvantages? There is a big: - Paper taste. And lots of it. Decreases significantly with a few rinse/soak cycles before brewing, but I still have a papery feeling in my throat. And doing multiple rinse/soak cycles is a pain. BUT the cool thing is that these filters are strong enough to withstand it. Even with all the water running through the system, I haven't had any durability issues. Overall, especially considering the price, I'm not sure this is the best choice. I will definitely look elsewhere when I run out.
