I definitely like the device. It is a rare case when technological excellence takes on a beautiful form, while avoiding serious (for me) shortcomings.
The machine is massive, with an elegant metal side. The dimensions, of course, are large, but there are no already compact devices of this class. The smartphone lies well in the hand.
The device has good autonomy, enough for a full day (13 hours) with 7 hours of screen, including 2.5 hours of navigation, 3.5 hours of the Internet and all sorts of programs (not games), an hour of photography at sub-zero temperatures. For its characteristics - an excellent result. Although in this parameter you always want more.
In real life, it heats up weakly, does not burn hands under heavy load (I also had such devices).

The device has both other advantages and disadvantages. I described what I feel myself, which is important to me. The price is high, and the device can do the same for two or three, even four times less (with the exception of some unique rarely used chips). But it will do it not so qualitatively and pleasantly for the user.

It makes no sense to change a top-end (or so) device of the past, even the year before last, to the S7. I switched from HTC One 2022, in which case the progress of technology is obvious, first of all in the camera (and this is very important for me). Cons

1. The battery is not replaceable. Given the fuse of power, the device can last for years. But the battery will wear out over such a period, you can’t replace it yourself. And do not put a high-capacity battery. 2. Slippery. In dry hands, he strives to leave the owner for a meeting on a hard floor. 3. There is no FM radio. You rarely really need it, but you still want it, there is a lot of space in the case.
