I love my Tesla, but the shiny surface of the center console attracts fingerprints and reveals every speck of dust that can get on it. but seeing so many people fighting decided I had no choice. The company promises to replace the part if you screw it up, so I decided to give it a try. I watched the company's videos several times to make sure I understood what they were doing. Then, with the gear and phone in hand, I went to the car to try it. I made the centerpiece myself with no help and found it fairly easy to install. As for the top part, I asked my wife to help me and hold the flashlight as it's hard to see under the screen. The drink holder area bothered me the most and it took a bit longer to get in line. In general, I spent 30-45 minutes installing it and am very happy with the results. We'll see how it holds up, but I'm hopeful. The finish is shinier than I thought it would be but it really grows on me. Take your time with the install and I think you'll find that it's not as bad as it sounds.
