I ordered this part and installed it last winter. I thought everything was fine. My car was constantly overheating so I pulled out the thermostat and my car ran fine. I thought I should flush the system. Did the same. I had to drive for months without a thermostat because when you turn on the thermostat the car overheats. Then this summer I noticed that the temp gauge read 1/4 heat as soon as I started the car. Strange. Connected to the computer and noticed that the machine shows 135 degrees without starting. The coolant temp gauge read 50 degrees above normal. Replaced it and now everything works as it should. I think you get what you pay for.
