TOO EARLY - Sensors

If this radiator fan sensor is working well but starting too early, it can affect the temperature sensor readings being sent to the ECM.

Pros
  • Lots of positive swings
Cons
  • Fading

Exactly what I ordered

Excellent sensor. The fans come early which others have complained about but in the desert where it's always hot at minus 2 months a year it doesn't bother me at all. Great price and super fast delivery

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • I have no particular complaints about it, everything is fine

Non Cherokee 94

The electric fan started at a very low temperature so it runs continuously. Also, it takes a long time for the engine to start the first time. I replaced it with a Delphi ECT sensor and the problem was solved immediately.

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Operating Speed

Not a replacement for #33004281 Not for 1995 Jeep Cherokee

Wrong part. 33004281 is rated for about 15kฮฉ at room temperature. That's about 4K, which is why the temperature sensor never goes above zero. If it had been 1996 it might have worked. To return.

Pros
  • Very fast delivery
Cons
  • Contact seller

Fast delivery and parts issues

Although the delivery was very fast the part failed causing major problems such as wrong readings (temperature) in the ECM and this was also visible on the temperature sensor on the dashboard. I had to buy another temporary transmitter to fix this problem.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

First check for loose plug contacts.

I installed it and it didn't work. I checked all voltage and resistance readings, everything is fine. I checked my fork. It looked a little loose so I tightened the pins and now it works fine. That means my original resume is probably still good. Before buying a new sensor, check the connector for good contact.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Functionality

Gauges inaccurate

I installed this on a 1997 Jeep Wrangler 4.0, after flushing the coolant readings were all over the place. It's low, it's stupid high. With a temperature reading of 140, this gauge read 250. I checked with a thermometer gun and a temp gauge, they all showed the same thing but no gauge. Went to the parts store down the street and everything was fine. Not satisfied with this sensor.

  • Decent performance

Unpacked defective

I ordered this part and installed it last winter. I thought everything was fine. My car was constantly overheating so I pulled out the thermostat and my car ran fine. I thought I should flush the system. Did the same. I had to drive for months without a thermostat because when you turn on the thermostat the car overheats. Then this summer I noticed that the temp gauge read 1/4 heat as soon as I started the car. Strange. Connected to the computer and noticed that the machine shows 135 degreesโ€ฆ
