Good but not for nail clipping or other activities your cat dislikes. I have a 1 year old very strong and unruly cat who could run away within a minute even when very clingy 5 times before I gave up. Now I use it to lead him outside on a leash. At first he was quite difficult to kill, but once he finally understood what it means to go out for fun and became more accommodating, it became easier (but still not easy) to beat him.
