After two months of using the rack 3-4 times a week, never exceeding 25-30 pounds, the part that attaches to the rear wheel broke off where it contains a threaded hole to hold it Tighten the screw that attaches the luggage rack to the rear wheel. It certainly looks like a weak point, and when you look at it, it's clear that's where it's broken. Not sure what to do with the replacement at the moment as the Ibera website says to contact the point of sale. the same thing happens to them. In the same post there are several comments from other people who broke the rail in the same place. Very disappointed with it. UPDATE 1: A day after I posted the above review I contacted Ibera and they sent me 2 replacements for the broken rod. That was good of them considering I bought the rack from Revain and the warranty situation was unclear. Received it and repaired the frame. UPDATE 2: A few days after replacing a broken stem on one side of the bike, the stem on the other side broke in the same spot. The trunk was still unloaded at this time. Just drove through a small crack in the sidewalk. Luckily they sent me two rods when the first one broke so I had a spare rod. install it I've been using it for a few weeks now and so far so good. Still pretty disappointed overall.
