Sherpa seat cover (branded, not fabric) is ideal for keeping pets out of your back seat. fur and riots. I have a rental car so it's in my best interest to keep the back seat closed at all times so my dog doesn't get it dirty or scratch his skin. It's made of thick, waterproof, scratch-resistant material that's machine washable. The seat is quilted, the backrest is not. The headrest straps have buckles in the form of clips, they are easy and quick to install. An unusually useful feature is the two foam anchors that hold the cover firmly in place where the car seat and backrest meet, effectively preventing slippage during use. The harness anchors go through two holes which is handy for me as I use a harness style safety clip when my dog is in the car. Another useful and well thought-out feature is the grip loops on both corners of the seat, thanks to which the seat cover fits perfectly and stays in place. It fits very well on the bench of my crossover. Instructions are included to modify the cover to only cover half of the seat. I really like this handy case. For me there is a significant disadvantage, especially since I have a large dog. This is a bench cover only, not a belt cover. Without the ability to add an optional faceplate to the front seat headrests, this is quite a slippery surface for my dog to slide onto the floor of my back seat and possibly cause injury. She cannot move easily unless there is a full sling to prevent her from falling. One star deducted for that. The packing diagram and instructions are very detailed and well written. This could be a good addition to your collection of safety and comfort items for your dog in your vehicle.
