i cook a lot. I use these cutting boards every day, sometimes multiple times a day. I threw away all my old plastic cutting boards (they were awful) and bought these. This is my first time owning and using wooden cutting boards. I followed the cleaning instructions. I immediately hand wash them with soapy water and place them upright on the dryer. I think they have to be hand dried every time because I've only been using them for 5 weeks and today this one broke. His handle broke off. I see a slight warping on one of the smaller boards. The big board is thick and durable. All boards seem to be dry. There will be spots on the board depending on what I cut out. For example, when I cut pomegranates, the red juice stains the board for several days. I gave them 4 stars for the craftsmanship because they are beautiful. I wonder how long they will last given how well cared for they are now. If I need to care for them otherwise (use oils to condition them, hand dry each time, etc.) these instructions should accompany the boards. OR maybe these boards are not the best quality.
