Based on other product reviews on Revain and elsewhere I had high hopes for this product. Of course there are cheaper offers on the market for film scanners. I didn't want cheap. I wanted great. Wolverine's Titan just couldn't handle it. I have hundreds of old slides from ten years ago that I never digitized. When I dug up these old Ektachromes I was amazed at how vivid the colors were and how sharp the images were. But the scanned images created by Wolverine were dark, pixelated and sadly lacking in detail. They couldn't even be corrected or enhanced in Photoshop. In addition, the scanner was unable to capture the full image. It surprises me that they even sell a slide scanner that cannot capture the full dimensions of a color slide. Wolverine chopped off heads, giving me a degraded image that didn't even lend itself to simple Facebook posts. I wish I had bought a slide projector, projected slides onto a good screen, and photographed the projected image with a digital SLR. I ended up having to send it back to get a refund. If you're willing to settle for meager quality, there's no need to shell out big bucks for this over-the-top disappointment.
