My phone weighs 200 g (7 oz) and measures about 75 x 160 mm (3 x 6+ inches). The suction cup holds securely, at least now when it's new. The adhesive on the base is impressive and seems to hold up well to the slightly textured dashboard. I really like that it's so small. The problem is that under the influence of gravity and vibration, it "sags" about both axes. Obviously there is no way to tighten the ball in the socket. I need something like this with a locking lever or collar.
