Bought this for my mum who has trouble shuffling. It had a battery that eventually died. She complained about the noise. She had to put it on a towel to isolate it from the wooden table and make it a little less distracting. I decided to try this manual model instead of buying another battery powered one. Their decor is rose-pink, so the red color won me over. She is very happy with this model. It's easy to crank and does a decent job of mixing. You have to shuffle the deck 2 or 3 times to do all the work. Sometimes the cards stick together or get stuck, but most of the time they get shuffled properly. You and I are very happy with this model.
