Unravel half a deck of cards, that's all!

It doesn't work at all. One side shoots cards perfectly and fairly consistently, while the other side throws cards improperly. I've tried lightly touching the top of the deck with my finger to improve grip, tried old and brand new cards, and slightly worn cards. For reasons unknown, the feed roller will not pick up or feed cards on one side. This is a total failure of mixing. There is no such thing as half a deck! This is the first time I've bought something and never bothered to return the…

Best battery pack for regular use

We've been using battery packs for a long time and after these packs arrived I threw the old ones in the trash. They don't require batteries and hold the cards much better when shuffling. The handle is plastic, so you don't want to disassemble the device once it's assembled, but it's not necessary. The battery-type blocks have two steel pins that the push-activator pushes together, but the flow of energy creates heat in the pins and they slowly melt through the activation part. This action…

Quieter than a battery operated shuffler

Bought this for my mum who has trouble shuffling. It had a battery that eventually died. She complained about the noise. She had to put it on a towel to isolate it from the wooden table and make it a little less distracting. I decided to try this manual model instead of buying another battery powered one. Their decor is rose-pink, so the red color won me over. She is very happy with this model. It's easy to crank and does a decent job of mixing. You have to shuffle the deck 2 or 3 times to do…

Exceeded my expectations

There doesn't seem to be a card shuffler that gets consistently rave reviews. It seems the nature of these things is that cards will stick or break on cheap plastic components. But this inexpensive little hand-operated model keeps getting named among the more reliable performers, so I gave it a try. What can I say? It handles two decks perfectly and shuffles them well until it sticks. It's very easy to use, and as others have pointed out, it's much quieter, easier, and requires less maintenance

Works great - check bottom of unit for grip

Works great. Please note that the handle is stored on the bottom of the device. You need to remove it from there and insert it into the back. I see a lot of people thinking their cars were shipped crankless. Please check the bottom. I also see a lot of people complaining that it's a piece of junk plastic and the handle doesn't work or breaks. This is a $15 unit. Check out the professional devices, they cost over $150. Of course, when you're paying $15 for a piece of plastic, you have to be…

The Real Deal!: Shufflers

Errors. I guess I should say it's a real shuffle. It's cheap and it works every time! The best feature of all. The "Welcome to Las Vegas" decal is easy to remove after heating with a hair dryer. This way you can watch the mixer's action closely and be mesmerized by it! Add to that your decks of cards don't develop "Shuffled Card Bend" and what's not to love?!?! A. I am in favor of keeping the pen attached at all times. And I decided to just throw the box in the trash. early update. I just…

Disappointing Shuffler

I don't know if I received a defective shuffler but it was a real disappointment after reading so many reviews from people who were happy with theirs. I need a shuffler if I'm going to shuffle my cards at all; I have arthritis and small hands so blending alone is hopeless. It seemed like people reviewing auto shufflers were complaining about jamming and eating their cards, so I went with it. The only positive thing I can say about it is that it's better than my own shuffle and it hasn't eaten…
