Review on Ultimate Comfort and Style: Alpine Swiss Sandals for Athletic Outdoor Activities by Robert Carter

This review is about the Alpine Swiss Reid Men's Sport Sandal, an outdoor walking sport shoe (10, black). These are amazingly comfortable sandals for the price. I usually wear leather sandals, but for the beach and pools I needed something more waterproof. These sandals are perfect for this type of use. The soles are thick, with nice lugs on the bottom for traction, durable yet comfortable. I wear a 10-10.5 wide and a size 10 fits great in these sandals. My toes don't end up hanging down like I've experienced on some 10s. There is plenty of room in the toe area and the Velcro can be adjusted for the perfect fit. The ankle strap is also Velcro adjustable so at this size it really should fit most foot types. The velcro is also snug so you don't have to worry about the straps coming loose easily. These sandals have some arch support but I would say it's pretty minimal as it's soft and really compresses. What really struck me as a strong plus of these sandals is that all the straps are covered with soft neoprene to protect the foot. These "cheap" sandals can have very rough straps that dig into your foot or just chafe it. You don't have this problem. I am very satisfied with the sandals, find them very advantageous and would have ordered them earlier.
