It worked. I bought 5 of these for my living room vaulted ceiling and 4 for my masterbed vaulted ceiling. I used 2 power supplies for each room. For the living room I connected 3 together for 1st power supply and 2 together for 2nd power supply. The light intensity decreased as the distance between the LED and the power source increased, especially when 3 such lights were connected together. That's one of the reasons I chose daylight white light - it's brighter than yellow. The masterbed has 1 power supply for each 2-wire LED strip. The light shines bright everywhere as there are only 2 LED strips per power supply. How I connected the LED: I connected the wire covers (like I would for speaker wire) to expose the wire. Then I connected the red wire to the red wire, the black wire to the black wire (exactly the same as for the speaker wires). This works very well.
