Be prepared for extras if you really want HomeKit integration

Let's break it down: - If you're going from a chain to a belt, be prepared to complete the setup to make new. . We had to remove our track, install a new track and of course install a new garage door opener. I hired someone because I haven't messed around with it - I think most of us buy this because it supports Wi-Fi, which means you can control your smartphone, there aren't many companies out there, well, be Let's face it, I only know Chamberlain/Liftmaster at the moment (it's the same company) - be prepared to get robbed. So. If you're an avid Homekit user, not only do you have to pay $200 for a garage door opener, you also have to pay $70 for a "hub". (It used to cost $50). Why such a bad rating? - It works out? Absolutely. But why would such a big company rip off their customers so they can use something that needs to be baked in their products? There is no point in paying for Google Home (sorry, but no matter if I use the app or Google Home, it works with the same server). As a customer, I'm outraged that I have to pay over $70 just to add a home jersey. The worst thing is that the company knows about it, which is why you see the Home Bridge keep going up in price. It used to be $49.99, I saw it here on Amazon for $94.99. If I hadn't paid someone to install it I would have returned this crap. GREED, GREED, GREED. You should focus on customer service, there's no reason we should be paying for something you can easily add to this already expensive door opener. I can't wait for another company to offer a similar product.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
