It will crack and not filter
These are terrible filters. We have found that they all fall apart and lose their impact. We replaced one and it's not really as "swollen" as it should be and that restored our system and we installed another one which was swollen but broke after a day or two and no more had worked. I'm not sure if they are outdated or wrong. Very disappointed.
