HEAVY BOAT - Works great

I have read almost every review, good/bad/indifferent, for almost every set of trolleys listed on Amazon. I ordered them because of the price and the stated load capacity. Description for 2 trolleys weighing 6000 lbs. Description for 4 x 6000lb wagons (just fingers crossed and hope for the best). I have a 5,500 lb (dry weight) boat (loaded with fuel/gear/ice chests/sandwiches/fruit/Daddy's BEER +/- another 15,000 lbs) sitting on a tandem axle trailer that I had to move sideways in. my business to make room for a new caravan. The package arrived as promised. I ordered 4 dolls. I pulled all the parts out of the box to take stock and start the building process. I counted 16 "Check" wheels, which were surprisingly heavier than I expected, 15 "No Check" washers and nuts, and 5 (FIVE) "Check plus One" steel plates. I was able to reuse a nut from one of the trailer mounts to put everything back together. I still don't know what to do with the extra disk. Target practice I guess. All went well, put the boat on carts and expected everything to just fall apart, but everything held up great, no knocks/pops/clicks. With the help of a friend we were able to push the boat so that all 16 wheels moved in the same direction and once aligned it rolled very smoothly across the floor! Given the weight and size I'm moving, I don't know if this will ever be the work of a single person, but the carts did what they were supposed to. Currently the boat is still on the carts, I will get the boat back on the ground today or tomorrow to see what 'shape' the carts are in after use.

Pros
  • REINFORCED STRUCTURE - The steel plate and 3" ball bearing locking casters of these heavy duty dollies provide 6,000 lbs of reach (1,500 lbs per caster) for moving vehicles, lifting cars or trucks, or positioning heavy loads in places save up.
Cons
  • Doubt
