It's more durable than I thought it would be and the mount allows for some flexibility to keep it from coming loose. Before purchasing I was wondering if it would last and stay anchored and once installed I'm sure it will last for years. I've ridden it for many miles with no problems. I routed a wire under the tank and connected it to the battery tender's quick connector. So when I'm driving, I turn off the battery tender and plug this wire into the same wire (that goes to the battery). I also like that it has TWO USB ports instead of ONE that others offer. I ran the phone and GPS on RAM mounts and everything worked great.
