My daughter started kindergarten this year and she has to wear a belted uniform. We bought her a regular belt and although she could buckle and unbuckle it that was a problem. Saw this one and decided to give it a try. It slips easily through the belt loops on the pants (the old ones were too wide and barely fit). Once I showed her how to open the clip and she was able to do it herself. She's been using it for about a month and loves it. We ended up washing it and it shrunk a bit (although it still fits) so keep that in mind and maybe dry it instead of throwing it in the dryer like I did.
