Not bad for this money!

I was looking for a relatively inexpensive barcode/QR code scanner that I would recommend to my customers for my website inventory management system and decided to give this one a try. I'm glad I did this because for a cheap product it actually works quite well. He's not without his quirks, that's for sure. And some of them are actually not his fault. It behaves a bit strange when connected via Bluetooth. Don't get me wrong, it works. But there are times when he does strange things. The main annoyance is that iOS does not open the built-in keyboard when this scanner is connected (via Bluetooth or USB), which is not a fault of the scanner, and there are some barcodes in the manual that you can scan. Make the keyboard appear when needed. Again, this is an iOS feature, but you'll have to deal with that if you're using the scanner with an iPhone or iPad. I had to glue it again but it worked. Maybe the quality control could be better. But in terms of the advertised functionality, it absolutely corresponds to the declared properties. Programming wasn't too difficult for the most part, although switching between USB and Bluetooth modes is a little confusing at first. And once set up, it scans pretty quickly. Not as fast as the Symbol devices I use myself, but performance is acceptable. Overall, I have no problem recommending this to anyone looking for an inexpensive barcode/QR code scanner. It's built well enough to stand up to most people and works as advertised.
