It just IS after about an hour of use. Bought in March, the return period has long since expired. The line chord has power and the tassels look intact. I'm assuming it's ESC, but that shouldn't be my problem for a tool that's only been around for an hour anyway. There is NO customer service email on their website, but they do provide a phone number in China. oh joy This product is not even listed on their website. The warranty seems to be 30 days if you send the defective product back to China within 30 days for which no shipping address is provided. but we are certainly disappointed with this tool. The Metabo 623483000 P60 Louvre Wheel was another $45 and worked well until the tool died. no noise No Smoking . just died
