Do not use them for a traditional indoor hook
My porch has a corrugated iron roof and 2x4s are open underneath. I have plant hangers on the edges of the porch. I have bluebells behind some plants and instead of screwing more traditional hooks into the tree, I saw them and thought what the heck, maybe try them and you know what? They work great! I hooked them to a 2x4 beam and hung my bells from them. That way I don't rot in the wood and can move those hooks where I want since I have more 2x4's every 2 feet! I also have a couple of spinning windmills so my porch gets a bit busy if you like but hey I love it and these hooks let me do whatever I want on the porch!
