Review on 🚗 Weivision 360 Degree Universal Bird View Car DVR Camera System - Record Panoramic All-Round Rear View for All Car Models by Richard Puckett

I saw a similar system installed in my son-in-law's Mercedes and was totally impressed. I wrongly assumed that such a system would be too expensive for my humble Chevrolet. Now that I have it installed and configured I am completely satisfied. This Weivision Universal 360 was a steal. Now I have to say that the installation was not trivial. The instructions were actually very good and helped me to avoid most installation errors. The hardest part was installing the side cameras in the side mirrors and running a single camera cable from the door to the passenger compartment. A thin connector/cable made this much easier than traditional phono connectors. I used the manual setting with the tested wipes provided and the display looks great. For the front camera I made a custom mount using a short piece of 3/4" PVC pipe and lengthened it so it can look down and see the edge of the bumper. , Mounted on the rear bumper and that worked just fine. Attached a small IR remote control on the velcro switch panel. This system makes parallel parking in New York a lot of fun. I haven't tried the recording system. Warning: although the installation instructions are excellent, I find myself quite "handy" and the installation has many Took hours.Plus the cameras are custom built for this system, wide angle, not 12v.I experimented and blew out the front camera before installing it.However, WEIVISION's excellent customer service quickly sent me a replacement.
