I bought two bottles for a lightweight bike water bottle and one for hiking. When riding a bicycle, do not use two hands to open the screw cap to drink; and even when backpacking, one hand holds my trekking poles while I eat, so wearing a cap for 1-handed work was an absolute must. I sent a question and got a reply regarding the sizes. Well, the Klean Kanteen cap WAS easy to screw in, but the threading was VERY different; and the diameter of the bottle was only a millimeter or two larger, so the water gushed out. The bottle itself is fine if someone likes screw caps. The company should simply do what 99.9% of other bottle manufacturers (less than 0.5 gallons) have done - make them compatible with Klean Kanteen caps! Light! When a manufacturer just REALLY wants to be different, make it externally threaded (or unthreaded with an angled cork cap profile) and include cork caps! (No sarcasm! I actually have a very old bike water bottle with an aluminum and cork stopper and it works VERY well and is CRAZY light).
