So far so good!: Sport and outdoor accessories

I've only been using this bottle for two days but I love it. I've finally decided to throw out Nalgene plastic bottles for everyday use. I would like to use glass, but it's too heavy and fragile for public transport. I seriously considered stainless steel but can be very sensitive to metallic tastes. This titanium bottle with a green cap (my favorite color) is beautiful. No aftertaste, very light, and the bottle looks and feels good. The only thing I have to get used to is unscrewing the lidโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Simple design
Cons
  • No dispenser

I bought two bottles for a lightweight bike water bottle and one for hiking. When riding a bicycle, do not use two hands to open the screw cap to drink; and even when backpacking, one hand holds my trekking poles while I eat, so wearing a cap for 1-handed work was an absolute must. I sent a question and got a reply regarding the sizes. Well, the Klean Kanteen cap WAS easy to screw in, but the threading was VERY different; and the diameter of the bottle was only a millimeter or two larger, soโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Crumpled

I hope they were able to give us some sort of guarantee that it was made in the USA or had a titanium certificate or something but it seems to be a well known company and they I have good customer service so can't complain about that. Also have spare parts. Hopefully their customer service will be around for years to come. My only complaint is that the top doesn't always go straight, and when it doesn't it kind of gets stuck and you risk splashing it, but it doesn't. bad but needs improvementโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Works well if you take the time to understand basic physics principles.

I see. It's a bottle and expensive, but at the current price ($50-$60 depending on cap color, for some odd reason) I think it's reasonable for what you get. Unlike aluminum and some stainless steel bottles, titanium will not leach out over time and you can be assured that it will last you a long time. It's lightweight, you can boil water if you don't have cleaning tablets handy, and it's structurally sound. Will there be a dent? I don't, but I honestly wouldn't be surprised if a scratch appears

Pros
  • Constant test results
Cons
  • There are disadvantages
