Bad boots. for parts

Very disappointed, bet on Evinrude 1975 25hp I definitely wouldn't run. Played with it for 8 hours. Finally a friend offered to check the boots, they shorted the plugs. Pulled the boots off the old ones and fixed the problem, don't trust the boots even if they are new.
