Not a bad seat but we knew right away as soon as we installed it that it was going to be a product that we would 'do' with until we found something better . I was in a bind and the first class shipping helped get this here quickly. Upon installation we found that one of the plastic fasteners would not screw in as tightly as the other and as a result the seat became more wobbly than I would have liked. Hard plastic is easy to clean. If you're one of those people who need a quiet/soft closing lid, this isn't for you. In the middle of the night, a slamming lid might have alerted someone nearby.
