Review on Optimized Blower Assembly by Melvin Man

I thought I did a thorough research on the Broan website and then found it here. Poorly. This is a replacement for the 8.25 square, not the smaller 7.5 (I have a Broan 771a). ok i can do it I spot welded the fan cross member and installed it in my old case with some spacers. Half an hour's work. but it's better than redoing something in the attic. The motor runs much quieter than the old device. The plastic fan is the same as my old one. In any case. Read and ask questions, but I swear if you see anyone who said it was a direct replacement for the 771a
