Update (10/20/21): Inspection of the rear found that one of the 3 was no longer working and showed signs of heat distortion on the plastic around the connector. 1 star, not recommended due to fire hazard. Summary: I like these vertical switches, which have the switch on top instead of on the side, for applications where the outlet is on the bottom and a top view is more convenient, e.g. B. the back of a couch that you can look down on see switch. Observations: I found both the white version for $9 each and the black version for $4 each. The specs are the same and they look the same so I bought a 3 pack to test. If you need a higher current application like a power tool I would recommend the Leviton listed below. Yes, they are rated for 15A (1875W), but they blew anyway. Other reviewers have had similar experiences. Pros: Good fit and finish; Good price. Cons: none (except for previous rejections of this brand).
