This fan kit is a great way to add color to the inside of your PC case, whether your motherboard is built in or not -supports ARGB. Almost everything you need is included in the box, including five great fans, a PWM fan hub with ARGB controller, and mounting screws. The only detail you need to provide is a button for the controller (more on that below). This kit represents an excellent price considering the completeness of the kit and the quality of its parts. The 120mm fans provide decent airflow and are beautifully crafted with solid frames and silent bearings. The RGB lighting is bright and vibrant, and the "infinity mirror" creates an impressive optical illusion of a chasm in the center of the fan. The fans are much less interesting on the back, with an orange DarkFlash logo sticker on black that doesn't stand out very well. Each fan has a separate 4-pin PWM power cable and 3-pin ARGB cable, while built-in ARGB splitters allow for easy daisy-chaining. in the lighting control for motherboards that do not support 5V ARGB. The LED controller offers 14 modes, half of which are animated. A wired button is required to operate the controller, and that part is up to you. Most PC cases have a rarely used reset button/cable that can be remapped for this (as DarkFlash suggests in the instructions), but any switch/button can do the job. I ended up plugging in the replacement push button switch that came with my mechanical keyboard and hiding it in an inconspicuous corner of my case. Overall, this is a great fan kit, with a couple of complaints: The ARGB port holes on the fan controller are too small. , which made connecting the cables much more complicated than necessary. Also, it would have been nice if an LED control button was included as I didn't want to lose my reset button and making my own button was an unexpected challenge. 4.5 stars overall, rounded up to five for value.
