I like this one because it looks like a spiral binding without a spiral binding. I think the price is quite high for a hole punch, but I think it's reasonable compared to other binding machines. The really wonderful thing is the binding spikes themselves. They are great! I tried using a homeschool comb last year and my kids kept trying to turn the pages and we ended up with a disjointed mess (books and people) so we decided to use this one. It is more expensive, but much more convenient than constantly running around the stationery store, and much more effective than a comb binder. I can also reuse spikes if I feel like it, so can't complain too much! I'm happy with it!
