Homeschooling Changes

I first heard about this on the A Farmhouse Full Vlog and thought it was a worthwhile investment. It usually takes me 45 minutes to bind things at our nearby office warehouse. Am I crazy for being so pissed off about this thing? He has already used it several times at our home school. It was a bit tricky to use the first few times and I thought I'd have to return it because it doesn't slide smoothly. But my husband moved the lever back and forth for me a few times and now it works great!

  • Heavy Duty Finish

Good machine for binders and binding systems

Product works great. It's very easy to use. The only problem I had was that sometimes the paper didn't come all the way back so be careful or you'll ruin your paper. It says you can punch up to 6 sheets of paper, but I didn't exceed 4 because I felt it was difficult. Even with 4 everything went very quickly. I don't think this product is worth $100 because you have to buy spikes and they are a bit high. I would wait until the car is sold if you can. What I didn't like was that the packaging it…

  • Very good price
Cons

I'm glad I got one of these! My comb drove me crazy.

I like this one because it looks like a spiral binding without a spiral binding. I think the price is quite high for a hole punch, but I think it's reasonable compared to other binding machines. The really wonderful thing is the binding spikes themselves. They are great! I tried using a homeschool comb last year and my kids kept trying to turn the pages and we ended up with a disjointed mess (books and people) so we decided to use this one. It is more expensive, but much more convenient than…

  • Everything is fine!

Great tool, but why so expensive?

I bought my ProClick5 p50 a little over a year ago and it has been a great tool. I have used it to make a personal planner for myself and many homework books for my kids. Love love love that you can add and remove pages like a folder without awkward and frequent page breaks. The product is sturdy and well made, but I can't understand why it costs so much. When I first started looking, I think it cost about $60. It was just over $70 when I bought it and now it's $80, over $100 at some online…

This is work! for Binders & Binding Systems

I bought this primarily to bind my daughter's workbooks for home schooling and also in hopes of binding her end of year assignments together. I looked through some reviews and preferred this handcrafted one over the machine because the machines didn't seem much better or didn't have many good reviews. What I liked was that it was fairly easy to use and the holes aren't as close to the edge as the comb binder. I also liked the overall look. What I don't like is that it only does 2-3 pages at a…

The Coolest Book Binding Machines

This ProClick rotary punch binder features a smart and efficient design. I bought it because you never know when you might have to make a brochure. I use my ProClick to make presentation copies of my stories for special occasions or when people can't access my website. Handling is very easy, but you have to be careful to align the paper exactly and prevent it from slipping off. The instructions say to punch holes in the paper before printing if it's crooked, but reprinting a page or two is…

Pros
  • Highly rated by testers for support and durability
Cons
  • Vulgarity

It may be more useful than what the manufacturer says.

This machine is pretty solid apart from the plastic cover on the bottom. It came in the box unassembled and won't last due to a design flaw. I had to use the product quickly otherwise I could return it. It doesn't matter as the plate is held in place by a small piece of tape. According to the manufacturer, there are two ways to align the paper in the lower feed slot. One lane is for a regular 11 inch sheet and the wider lane is for larger covers. What if you want to go smaller? To make any…

I like the ProClick system but this device is fine

I use this device to bind music that I print. The ProClick system is very good. This allows you to take full advantage of the spiral system, as well as easily inserting, changing and deleting pages and reusing the spine. The pages turn and lay flat perfectly, it's easy to use. They won't get stuck when you turn the page or fall out if you don't want them to. It's actually slightly better than the spiral system because the latter inevitably makes one side of the book higher than the other when…
