Maybe this is intended for Windows 8. It failed to work consistently on several Win 10 computers. The reception was ok when it worked but the USB antennae disappears randomly as a detected wifi device. Past the return period now so I guess I’m outta luck. I bought a TP LINK product to replace it which is 10x the quality and features (and better signal) for the same price. Don’t make my mistake, consider this one a HARD PASS and get something else.

First, the manual does not explain the procedures in the manual properly. You have to end doing some improvising thinking that this is how such an such should be. And when I first read about this thing on Best Buy, it said that this thing was PLUG AND PLAY which was far from it! I was even surprised that the square box antenna had a blinking light inside of it which is just one of the things not mentioned in the manual. Needless to say, it absolutely DID NOT work for me!

Honestly, the easiest antenna to install! It was literally plug n play. The range on this thing is amazing. I have not compared it to anything, but so far. Am very happy with the easy of use and distance.

I’ve been using this for a month and it works great. The first 2 weeks while waiting on the cable company to come hook my internet up at my new place I used it to connect to a family members WiFi about 100 yards away. I received a ful signal from their house. I used the stand and used it indoors, just pointed it out of the window. Now I use it just to get a great WiFi signal from my box. I have windows 10 on my PC so all I had to do was plug it in and it worked.

This is a great wifi antenna for the price as it increased my signal from 1 bar inside my house to 4 bars instantly. I highly recommend this item as it works great for me. Very easy install also

I have purchased at least 8 other wifi adapters on Best Buy for my laptop, or for my kids laptops. Every single one of them would quit working within a few months, due to poor construction. The metal USB end always becomes loose from the plastic adapter part, causing it to fail. This particular adapter does not have that problem. Doesn't get you the reception that you think. Comparing it side by side to a $25 or $20 antenna I see absolutely NO DIFFERENCE in terms of performance, reception, or stability. This Wi-Fi antenna is doing every thing I wanted it to, can't say that very often. I am really happy. Best Buy delivered. Requires some technical know-how to install and set up correctly.

I'm using this in an older desktop HP that didn't have wireless built-in. It installed immediately with Windows 10, all I had to do was enter my network password. One thing that concerns me is that the entire packaging is written in Chinese, and there is no name TUOSHI on ANY of the materials I received, not even the adapter itself. This is a very cheaply made network adapter. I tried it in a handheld that usually recognizes generic wireless and it did nothing. I tried it in my laptop and my laptop did recognize it, but it messed up the operation of my laptop and I had to reboot.

I installed this in my daughter's HP laptop. The built-in card would not pick up a 5g signal from her home router or ours. I ordered this and it installed easily and the reception was just as it should be on our system. Very good item for the price.

I use my vintage camper as a second office now that my family has been taking over the house.
