If you're familiar with thru-axle systems (used on forks), you'll understand the benefits of this Swiss-made DT skewer. No more worrying about wearing out the rubber bushings found on other quick release swivels, and it's super easy to adjust the handle to any position you want, even after the skewer is fully tightened. This was one of my favorite pet peeve when it came to traditional wheel skewers because it took extra time to get the clamp handle in the right position each time. The DT Swiss RWS skewer just makes more sense.
