I was looking for budget stitch markers for knitting when I came across this set. It was a great price for a bunch of useful tools, so I took it. I am generally satisfied with the purchase. I fell in love with a pair of twine shears. These items are actually my favorite items in the entire purchase. Stitch markers are just what I was looking for. Plastic pins and pigtail holders are so-so, but I think almost all plastic versions are easy because I prefer metal unless I need something more flexible. Aluminum stitch holders and needles work well. Needle caps hit or missed. One doesn't hold up very well, the others are fine. The stitch counters are ok, not that easy to turn, but still functional and readable. The tape measure and dipstick are of good quality and I always need a spare. I was a bit disappointed that the "handy carry case" turned out to be a zip-top plastic bag that you put everything back into, but that's not a problem for me. All in all, this is a great price for a pretty useful kit. If you're a casual crafter who isn't very picky about your tools, then this is a good set to start with.
