This beech wood cutting block is beautiful and well made and its size is suitable for standard kitchen jobs. We always keep it near our prep pool and I clean and oil it regularly to keep it in good condition (hopefully for years to come). It also looks great in our modern kitchen as it brings a 'natural' texture and sense of contrast to most white and stainless steel surfaces. Also bought an Artelegno knife block; just as well done and beautiful. Quality materials and worth paying a little more for.
