thick glue. Thin material

The adhesive on this product is a bit sticky and viscous, so I had to scrape the dirt off of all the places where the adhesive came in contact to the final destination. I really don't think the glue will hold up well in a hot application. This material is thinner than I expected, but it seems to have prevented noise from under the dash where I placed a Silverado Duramax layer on the dash just below the upper dash trim. This is a normal product, nothing special here.
