Review on Kester 44 Solder Wire, 63/37 0.031-inch, RMA Rosin, 1 oz Tube by Brian Campbell

I have been using Kester products for over 40 years and can't recall ever being disappointed. The field of electronics has changed a lot in 4 decades and the repair of smaller and smaller components is becoming more thermally sensitive and more densely packed on small circuit boards, requiring increasingly shorter acceptable tip contact times. I understand the need for lead-free solder in some products and/or situations, but I have yet to find a lead-free solder with the properties that Kester 63/37 combine to make fast, accurate solder joints with minimal risk of rework. Therefore, for my purposes, I will adhere to 63/37 and take reasonable precautions against inhalation of vapors or prolonged skin contact.
