Kester 44 Solder Wire, 63/37 0.031-inch, RMA Rosin, 1 oz Tube Review

I had to try it, people are excited about this brand. This is a good solder and works as it should. It costs more than another brand of solder that works just as well, so I don't know if I'll keep buying it if it doesn't sell or something.

I thought I couldn't solder. Well I was wrong, it was the crappy solder I used. I bought this stuff and now my quads look like they were made by a pro. Well, at least someone knows how to solder. Good solder makes a big difference.

Such a good solder. It is really important. Lower the temperature of the solder by 50°C and this material will flow smoothly and has a good flux core that will make the butt joint shine again and keep your material looking good. .031 diameter stock is really good - it's always good to be able to get a thicker tube too, say either .048 or .062 for medium to large jobs.

I ran out of solder and my grandfather was like oh I have some, he gave me a tube of it which was probably older than me (22 years old) and I fucking loved this stuff. Lead-free solder will drive you insane faster than a hatter, faster than lead poisoning, and burn you to death in the process

This is better quality and finer soldering than the Radio Shack I used. Due to its lower melting point, I can reduce the temperature of the soldering iron and it is easier to attach components when soldering. This package isn't as good as buying the same lot in a large Kester spool, but the quantity is enough for my needs and the tube is very handy. Fantastic! This is absolutely 100% REAL Kester of the highest quality. It is simply sold in smaller and cheaper quantities in handy tube dispensers. If you've ever browsed the Kester or their distributors' website then you know how extensive their product catalog is!
