This adapter fits the factory plug perfectly and the color scheme matches the color scheme of the wiring for the aftermarket stereo making it very easy, just color match it (but be careful to match exactly check, just because that's my coincidences doesn't mean someone else won't). The wires come pre-scrubbed so you don't even need tools, you can just screw them together if you like (I soldered my connections and heat shrunk them). In my case there was one wire that didn't work. My factory wiring harness didn't have the 12v accessory the adapter was expecting (and online searches showed it should have), but I've just found another 12v accessory power source nearby. Don't waste your time trying to figure out which wires go where, just spend a few bucks and buy this adapter, it's well worth it.
